Apple released a minor update for both of its video editing apps, iMovie and Final Cut Pro. Last year the company on MacBook Pro. The latest update brings the iMovie app to version 10.1.5. Apple is not bringing any new features to the app with this update. However, the company has packed fixes for several address issues that occurred in the last update. Main bugs fixed by the update are related to the import mechanism. In the previous versions, some video shot on iPhone failed to appear in the import window and it got fixed in the latest update.
Final Cut Pro, the video editing software for professionals also received the latest update. Similar to the iMovie app, Final Cut Pro is also updated with bug fixes and performance improvements.

IMovie 10.1.4 improves stability when updating libraries created with earlier versions of the software. It also addresses an issue that would lower the volume of clips after transitions. For new users iMovie costs $14.99. Final Cut Pro 10.3.4 resolves a stability issue when using keyboard shortcuts to trim in Secondary Storylines. It also fixes an issue in which certain editing operations could create an extra audio fade in and fixes an issue in which the Share dialog could incorrectly display a codec warning.
For new users the software costs $299.
